Fostering a supportive and empowering community where women artists can thrive both personally and professionally.
ARTIST RESIDENCY & EXHIBITION
Womxnhouse is an artist's residency and exhibition supporting BIPOC, women, and nonbinary (Womxn) artists. We offer a platform for their creative expressions and build a community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts. Through mentorship, exhibitions, and various programs, we aim to break down barriers and amplify the impact of women artists, fostering systemic change for a more inclusive cultural landscape. We celebrate the strength and creativity of women artists, ensuring their stories shape a brighter future.
Each cohort at Womxnhouse will turn a residential home into an interactive installation exhibit based on a theme they choose together. The house will be open for tours, featuring site-specific installations, artist discussions, performance art, and video installations. After the public exhibition, the house will be available for rent at an affordable rate, offering women artists a supportive living space.
