WOMXNHOUSE RETURNS FALL 2024
The Norwest Community Collaborative/Norwest Gallery of Art has launched an inclusive artist residency program to support women artists. Each year, we transform an entire house into a fully immersive art installation that explores the contemporary experience of being a woman in America.
DETAILS
• Womxnhouse will take place in Detroit Michigan (Opening September 14 - November 24)
• 4 month Project Commitment Including Consciousness Raising Session facilitated by Laura Earle, creation, and installation.
•Must create NEW WORK
•Resident Artists will be selected in May of 2024.
ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
• Open to all women and nonbinary artists aged 21+
• The residency program is open to artists in all stages of their career. Successful applicants will demonstrate exceptional talent in their field, and a dedication to community engagement and contemporary art.
